ReplyDeleteAnother fine installment... I love Brasil '66.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when I heard Feist in this episode, I knew she must be the same singer who collaborated with Kings of Convenience on their album Riot on an Empty Street. I had to look it up on Wikipedia to confirm it though. Also, I swore it was her voice in the background of some animated commercial for insurance or banking or something. Sure enough... "Gatekeeper" from her Open Season album. Her voice is just so distinct.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. I have been getting some healthy doses of her new record at our store. some fine songs. 1234 just makes me what to clap my hands and spin in circles all the live-long day. How 'bout you?
