Here's an art project created in collaboration with kip during another rainless afternoon.

Return to base
We had the wonderful opportunity to once again share a tent with our friends juli and dan (CORDINATED) at the INDIEANA HANDICRAFT EXCHANGE last saturday. We talked about laser bases, recited whitney houston lyrics, and made many a dead president smile. Mostly, we laughed a whole lot and met some really rad folks while selling our stuffs along 16th street in sunny downtown indianapolis. Here's a peek at some behind-the-scenes drawrings:
Leave it to beaver.
Face the wave (or Plankton chops)
Pants less(on)
Nickel and dime (We'll call him rodney - named after the old painter i met while setting up. He showed me a bag full of store-bought toys he planned on selling to passersby while telling me "you gotta nickel and dime 'em wherever you can.") Here's to you, rodney.
Before we go, that new installment of GIDDY UP is now ready. You can get it HERE or just give me a holler. Things are getting weird.

Drawing nigh
So, just about a year ago, this happened. Now, at long last, the follow-up is arriving this saturday at the indiana handicraft exchange. Why don't you just go ahead and stop by the tent we're sharing with the lovely folks of cordinated and pick up a copy or two. Also, we'll have plenty of the mustard room t-shirts and such for sale. All aboard.

Summer class
We really dig our friends at winchester village elementary in perry township. They've given us an awful lot. Most recently, we were given the opportunity to print these snazzy tees for their summer school students to wear during field trips. They also drummed up some business for us from another school in the township. Well played, wildcats.
Here's the work space in the newly cleaned and partially carpeted summer sweat shoppe/garage. Things are just starting to heat up.
Baby Jane earns a waffle cone for all of her hard work handing off t-shirts to her old man.

Product placement
After a well-placed jaunt to st. louis with the janes and the doctor, we arrive home to boxes of apparel intended for printing upon. Many will be distributed to clients; Some will become homes for dudes like the one being awakened below.
In any case, we do have our work cut out for us, indeed.

Starlight sunshine children
Here's a collaborative effort by baby jane and myself. Note the colourful kite upon the doctor's blazing red sleeper. It looks as though these kids fell asleep in the sun. I believe this piece may or may not have been something created as a gift for mama jane in celebration of mother's day. However, it all becomes a little fuzzy when baby jane spends approximately two weeks leading up to a particular holiday adorning the recipient with gifts.
Regardless, here's to you moms.

Goodnight nobody
At long last, another long-playing album of original song for the people to enjoy. We welcomed the new collection in to the world by performing songs from this and previous projects at the strange brew coffee house. Twas a magical evening in which friends and families were dazzled by sweaty howling and attempted guitar demolition. Our incredibly talented friend, scott hensley, also wowed us all with an opening set of majestic fingerpicking and poetry. What a treat.
Get the new record here.
Now, here's kind of what the scene looked like from the crowd, courtesy of a rad guy who goes by the name derek arza:
Thanks, all.

Ride on
I've recently had the pleasure of getting to know a really rad guy named derek who recently traversed westward from indy to cali on his bicycle. You can read all about it here. Upon his return home, he started up a bi-weekly ride for ladies and dudes in the greater indianapolis area. Click that link, y'all. Also, besides donning a badass beard to be reckoned with, he took the liberty of hiring us to produce that fly logo for the endeavor.
Mister basbagill, we salute you!

Singin' in the breeze
We have amazing friends. Two of those friends just so happen to be scott hensley and court wilkins. They are old thyme eskimo. They make beautiful music with all their strummin' and pickin' and blendin' of magical voices and what not. Recently, we set up a microphone in our backyard and punched record whilst the eskimo delighted us with their sweetness. Here's a listen:
Old Thyme Eskimo - Still Gonna Die
We're calling it 'field record' and you can pick one up when you come out to see them perform at the strange brew coffee house next friday night. I'll be there as well promoting my new record titled 'goodnight nobody'. Here's a visual reminder:
We'll see you there. Wink.
